This is the fifth year in a row that IAO has received a grant from the Timothy D. Mayor Charitable Foundation through Gift Funds Canada. We are honoured that our efforts continue to be recognized by the Timothy D. Mayer Charitable Foundation.
Our organization received the first surprise grant in 2022 in the amount of $7,000 followed by grants of $10,000 thereafter, to be applied to our highest needs. This year we intend to use some of the funds to support a two-day in person workshop for GTA area residents: “Getting a Life”, with Judith McGill. Judith has decades of experience supporting families to develop true inclusion for and with their loved ones with disabilities.
